Current State: On A Mission

Hi, I'm Mary Ellen! I just began planning in January of 2018 and I can't get enough. The Happy Planner® has literally changed my life in such a positive way! I just started a YouTube channel (Planning with Bumble) and I'm having so much fun inspiring others by sharing what I create!

Sometimes life throws us curve balls and we don't even know where to begin to get back on track. In these times, I've always turned to planning to help me refocus. I am currently finding myself in a period of transition and I have a lot of choices to make. I have so many ideas floating around in my head and it's so helpful for me to get it all down on paper. It's time for some major goal I decided to create a 'LIFE GOALS' notebook! It will help me to reevaluate my life...figure out what I want my life to look like, what is currently moving me toward that and what is holding me back. I plan on working on this slowly and steadily throughout the next couple of years. I'm not going to push myself...I'm going to go at my own pace, work on one small goal at a time and break each goal down into manageable steps.

First I had to choose categories. I sat down and thought of all the main things that need change in my life. I chose:

  • Home
  • Health
  • Career
  • Money
  • Relationships
  • Personal Growth

I used an extra Happy Planner® covers and discs that I had on hand to make this, but your new Happy NOTES™ would work perfectly as well!

I started by adding a long box sticker from the 'Colorful Boxes' Value Pack Stickers to the middle of a piece of The Happy Planner® graph 'Note & Graph Paper.' I used alpha stickers from the 'Get It Done - Student' Value Pack Stickers to write "Life Reboot" in the middle. Then I trimmed down some of the flower garland stickers from the Squad Goals Sticker Value Pack and added them to the bottom of the title block. I drew a circle for each category and labeled them. Then I got out my favorite Sticker value pack - Gold Star Quotes! I filled the page with colorful quotes that I find motivating.

I pulled out some pink and purple Happy Planner® Colored Fill Paper and wrote one category on each page. Then I used The Happy Planner® CLASSIC Pastel Sticky Tabs to label each section in my new notebook. I filled each section with additional note paper.

Now it's time for me to fill out my main GOALS in the circles on the first page. Once that is finished, I will start creating a plan for each section of my life. I can't wait to make some positive changes!

Is there any areas in your life you need to REBOOT? If so, I would encourage you to explore that. The Happy Planner® is a great place for you to start!
